Henry Graham Dakyns (born 1838, died 1911) was a translator of ancient Greek. He is known for his translations of Xenophon's Cyropaedia and Hellenica, The Economist, Hiero, On Horsemanship. His name sometimes appears in print as H.G. Dakyns.[1] Dakyns was a tutor for Lord Alfred Tennyson's children.[2] Graham had numerous correspondences with Tennyson and his wife, Henry Sidgwick, John Addington Symonds and T.E. Brown and other nineteenth century literary figures.[3]...
